New series Prisoners of the Past
We started filming a series of popular educational videos about trauma and its consequences for Neodvisen.tv.
In the series Prisoners of the Past, we will talk about how people react when difficult, traumatic things happen to them, and what are the short- and long-term consequences of encountering extreme danger. One of the important consequences is that people can’t get away from this experience. With one foot in the past, trauma can affect them years and decades after the events have passed, destroying their lives and relationships. Part of their daily experience permanently responds to past trauma, so they remain prisoners of the past.
